- Many leaders like Bheemireddy Narasimha Reddy, Raavi Narayana Reddy, Mallu Swarajyam (woman revolutionary) and her husband, Arutla Ramachandra Reddy, poets like Bandi Yadagiri, Suddala Hanumanthu, etc. are from Nalgonda Dist.
